Seattle Washington Information

Seattle Washington is a diverse and modern city. Surrounded by majestic mountains and Lake Washington on the east and the Puget Sound on the west, you would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful city in the United States if not the entire world. Seattle is made up of smaller urban villages that surround the urban core. To the north of the city core you have urban villages such as Fremont, Green Lake, and the University District. To the west you have Magnolia, Ballard and West Seattle. To the south of the city you have the International District and in the urban core you have Pioneer Square, Bell Town, Capitol Hill, Queen Anne Hill and Madison Park. These urban villages offer many types of real estate, including homes both old and new, condominiums, modern to converted warehouses with a multi-purpose uses.

Seattle is very pedestrian friendly, the streets are crowded with people walking around town even late into the evening. The primary reason for all of the activity is the many fine restaurants, art galleries, parks and museums which are located throughout the city. The most popular tourist attractions are Pioneer Square, Seattle Aquarium, the Space Needle, and Pike Place Market. Museums Such as the Seattle Art Museum and Boeings Museum of Flight are just a few of the many great museum exhibits to see as well. Seattle is world renown for its fine Seafood Restaurants but you can also find other very fine restaurants serving a wide variety of ethnic and American food throughout the city.

People come to live in Seattle because of its quality of life; Seattle is consistently ranked as one of the most livable cities in America. One of the best kept secrets of Seattle is the mild climate, rarely over 80 degrees in the summer and below 32 degrees in the winter it is always comfortable in Seattle. With all the water and mountains surrounding Seattle many of the residents take up outdoor activities such as boating, hiking, camping and fishing. Seattle called the “Emerald City” was green before green was cool. People who live in Seattle give the environment high priority, but this is in balance with solid group of world famous corporations such as Boeing, Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon, and Costco to name a few. Seattle is a wonderful place to visit but an even better place to live.
